Energy Policy Act 2005



Tax deductions for energy-saving upgrades to commercial buildings are available under the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct 2005) as of January 1, 2006. A partial lighting tax deduction of up to $0.60 per square foot is available for qualified lighting upgrades put into service prior to December 31, 2008.
